Have been looking for a pistol for some time, and, like most people I was looking at all those gorgeous gbb models, for that bit of realism.
Well, last Sunday I went out for a days airsofting and a friend had lent me his "twins" for the day - a beautiful pair of "Punisher" pistols. Lovely guns in their own right, don't get me wrong, but it was cold, and like many people that day, I could not keep the mags warm enough and so the pistols were uesless, and spent the day in my kit bag in the safe zone. Have you ever tried a kill house or CQB with an M14?? It's tricky!
So I got to thinking it was time I got my own pistol, and remembered then problems had on that cold Sunday. And so thought, ok, for a first pistol, maybe an electric isn't so bad, at least it'll work in the cold. Talked myself into it, even despite my longing for a nice gbb model.
RIGHT DECISION! This gun is awesome. Forget that there's no cycling action of the slide. It's got great weight to it, accurate and long ranged when you set the hop up right, and the internals give a nice little bump each shot, not the same as a gbb of course, but still, a nice feel. Fast repeat on single shot, and if you get in a real tight corner, the added bonus of a quick flick of the selector to full auto and let it rock and roll. 29rnd mag empties in about 3.5 seconds on auto, enough to keep most peoples heads down and let you bug out quickly. And the mag is real easy to rebomb with the included speed loader, unlike some pistol mags I've seen where people are squirting bb's everywhere, and no leaky gas valves to worry about either. Played with it yesterday, and reckon you'll get about 6 mags worth out of the battery, which may not sound much, but hey, it's supposed to be a back up weapon. Have yet to find out an fps, but will update when I do. I'm hoping it's compatible with the Marui aep of the same model, coz they do a nice 100rnd extended mag! Serious rock and roll then. :)
Definate recommend, especially for those colder months, or at this price as a back up incase your beloved gbb packs up.

JD guys were great in getting this gun out.
I've been plagued by my glock AEP firing two pellets at once, although this seems to come and go, it comes more often now I've had the gun a while.
**** I did contact JDairsoft aboutthis when I first got the gun and they offered to replace it with no hassle, however the problem seemed to right itself. Now its been so long I wouldn't feel right asking for a swap - this is my problem now.
When the gun works (not firing two pellets at once), it is pretty good. I get plenty of mags out of the battery before needing to re charge.
Range is ok, as is accuracy. On semi-auto compared to a gas pistol you'll feel out gunned, this is really for close quarters. Full auto will send them gas boys fleeing though, and you don't need to worry about buying gas or cold weather.
Its an in-expensive gun, and for the money is well worth buying. You will need to pick yourself up a european plug adaptor but these are cheap and can be found everywhere.
I'd buy another, or at least get mine fixed.

Bought this pistol for the winter months, as most regular air soft players know, gas is crap in really cold weather. I understood this was simply a Cyma AEG pistol, but re- branded by ASG, which was right. This is a good thing, parts and accessories are readily available and there are tons of reviews out there for you to read.
The ASG Glock is an AEG, and therefore not as powerful as a GBB pistol, you already know this, or should know this at the time of purchase, don't expect GBB performance, you won't get it, but what you do get, is an air soft pistol that will work when it's freezing cold in the woods, no more strong smell of gas coming from your GBB pistol as the gas escapes after one shot...yes we've all been there!.
The ASG glock measured 190-220 fps on the chrono, the battery life is excellent, of course you do have the option of the full auto function, if that is your thing. I found it reliable, quite accurate and light to carry all day.
ASG seem to be re-branding a lot of air soft stuff these days, this AEG pistol seems to one of them, having recently purchased two branded ASG products lately I can honestly say that they offer great value for money.
Also the ASG glock comes with white markers on the back sight on the glock, something missing from the Cyma version.
All in all, a good buy.
